First Lockhart Baptist Church is fully committed to seeing the Gospel spread throughout the world.

We want to faithful to Jesus' words in the Great Commission (Matt 28:16-20) and GO to the world and make disciples.  Here you will find information on trips planned for this year to get you on mission soil to have an impact for the Kingdom.  To request more in formation or to let us know of your interest in one of these trips, click here.

Heart of Christmas - Casa Hogar

July 2025

• Travel to Casa Hogar Orphanage in Mexico
• Deliver Christmas Presents to the children at a Christmas Fiesta
• No Cost!  Must have current passport

Armenia

Date:  Spring Break 2026

• 4-6 People
• Work with IMB family to reach new people and encourage missionaries and the church
• Cost is $1500 before scholarships

Spain

Date:  October 15-22, 2025

• 4-6 People
• Work with church plant on outreach. 
• Language exchange for English and Spanish speakers
• Baking treats with church families for kids at outreach event.
• Help with outreach event
• Cost is $1400 before scholarships

Mexico

 Date:  June 2025

• 10-15 People, all ages
• Deliver collected food and shoes for orphan kids at Casa Getsemani Hogar
• Perform general maintenance and repair of buildings 
• Assist with evening event with the children
• Cost is $100

• 4-6 People
• Work with church to share the Gospel 
• Cost is $TBD

Mongolia

Date TBA

• 4-8 People
• Help with coaching and sports training in sports ministry
• Assist with church planting - Teach marriage seminar, train adults on Biblical foundations, door-to-door sharing the Gospel
• Tentative cost for 14 days is $4,000-$5,000 for 14 days before scholarships
